I don’t know about you but, I never buy buttermilk. I don’t like buying one ingredient for a recipe, unless I’m going to use it all. With that being said, I never buy buttermilk. Which is okay because, I can make it at home. Best part, I always have the two ingredients on hand. I am sure you probably do as well.
Milk and Lemon Juice or Vinegar
You will need 1 TBS of lemon juice or vinegar for every one cup of milk. Let it sit, and when the milk looks a bit curdled it’s ready to use.
