Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

I know many people are starting to can and dehydrate food, to build a stock pile. This is a great recipe to try out!

This is a recipe where you can use your dehydrated spices and veggies!

Also this is a great recipe if your going hunting or camping. Put all your dry ingredients in a air tight bag or container and just add water! You can also dehydrate your noodles as well!


  • 1/2 C tomato powder
  • 2T dehydrated onion
  • 4 C water
  • 1.5 tsp dehydrated parsley
  • 1.5 tsp dehydrated basil
  • 1.5 tsp dehydrated oregano
  • 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1.5 T garlic powder
  • 1/4 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C dehydrated mushroom
  • 2T dehydrated bell pepper
  • 1 lb of cooked ground beef or 1.5 C dehydrated ground beef.

Put everything in a pot and let it cook up. I like to cook it on low for an hour or so. You can also put this in a crock pot and let it cook all day.
