Budget Friendly Homemade Pancakes

Ya’ll these pancakes are so fluffy! Now I am going to let you in a secret. I tend to change up recipes for a few reasons. First, I don’t like to shop for items I won’t use. Second, I try to use what I have on hand. Third, I need to keep on our budget. That is a biggie so to be able to stay on budget- I have to change recipes up to fit our budget (all the while still keeping them tasty).

This is one of those budget friendly recipes, I have adapted to fit my budget! I hope ya’ll enjoy!

Recipe

  • 3 C flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 7 tsp baking powder
  • 4 TBSP sugar (you can use any sugar you like, or leave it out)
  • 2 1/2 C water
  • 2 eggs
  • cinnamon (optional)

In a large bowl mix all your dry ingredients. Than add in your eggs and water, and mix well.

I make mine on my extra large griddle.

These are fluffy, so just give them time to cook all the way through. Cook over medium heat, and flip when they are ready.

Now you have some really great budget friendly pancakes!

Happy Cooking!!
